As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, India Klub in Bratislava in cooperation with Embassy of India in Bratislava and University Library in Bratislava organized an event on ‘History and Personalities of India’ in University Library premises on 17 May 2022. Opening speeches were delivered by Mr. Ladislav Volko, President of India Klub, Ms. Natalia Fillova, Head of the UNESCO Information and Documentation in the University Library and Minister Sunita Narang. Ms. Lydia Madhuri performed Rajasthani dance followed by lecture by Mr. Dusan Deak, Associate Professor at the Comenius University in Bratislava on ‘British Rule and India on the Road to Independence’.
