Overview
RailTel provides electronic interlocking implementation capabilities to support the modernisation of railway signalling infrastructure. These systems use electronic and computer-based controls to manage signal indications and track routes according to established interlocking logic.
RailTel has undertaken electronic interlocking projects for Indian Railways, including the replacement of older mechanical signalling systems at stations on Northern Railway. Modern electronic interlocking supports more efficient station operations and enables authorised personnel to control signalling and route-setting functions through computer-based interfaces.
