Overview
RailTel supports the deployment of KAVACH, the indigenous Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system developed for Indian Railways. As part of its railway signalling portfolio, RailTel undertakes KAVACH-related projects to support the implementation of modern train protection infrastructure.
KAVACH is designed to assist in preventing collisions and reducing risks associated with overspeeding and Signal Passed at Danger (SPAD) through automated train protection functions. Its deployment contributes to Indian Railways’ efforts to strengthen operational safety and modernise train control systems.
