Prof. Manoj Patwardhan

Biography

Dr. Manoj Patwardhan is  Professor (Management) at the institute. He obtained PhD degree in Management in the year 2004 and Masters Degree in Personnel Management and Industrial relations in the year 1992 from Jiwaji University, Gwalior.

He has worked in various Industries at Tarapur, Mumbai and Daman for almost six years and was exposed to different business scenario in the field of Human Resource and Industrial Relations. He has also worked in Prestige Institute of Management, Gwalior, as Assistant Professor, Human Resource for seven years.

 He had presented a research paper entitled "The role Of Leadership Traits & Their Impact on Managerial Effectiveness" in the European Applied Business Research Conference held at Germany and his paper was adjudged as the Best Research Paper among the 240 research paper across the world. He is having research papers at National and International level to his credit; he has traveled to Italy and France as well. Recently he has visited USA and participated in International conference. He has also paid visit to Harvard Business school and MIT in Boston, USA and interacted with the professors of eminence.

He has conducted one-day training programme for the middle and senior level of executives at AVN Tubes Ltd., Malanpur on Attitude Building. He has presented a module for the Asst. Commandants of Border Security Force (BSF) Tekanpur as a part of their Training programme on Interpersonal Skills and Management of Conflict. He was also invited by AIMA Tarapur Chapter as a guest speaker in the Management Convention on a theme of Vision 2020 Great Business Opportunity. In November 2004 he has conducted a session on Human Relations at Work Place under Workers participation programme, organized by Central Board for Workers Education, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India.

His areas of interest are General Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Development, Human Resource Management, Ethics and Values, Industrial Relations with research interest as Change Management and Leadership in Business.
