Message from Director General, NRLC:
It is my privilege to highlight the remarkable journey of the National Research Laboratory for Conservation of Cultural Property (NRLC), established in 1976 under the Ministry of Culture and recognized as a scientific organization by the Department of Science and Technology. Over the years, NRLC has emerged as a premier center for heritage conservation through scientific research, training, field projects, and knowledge dissemination. With three campuses, over 200 research publications, conservation of more than 40,000 artefacts, and hundreds of trained professionals, NRLC has made significant contributions nationally and internationally. Through collaborations, innovation, and public participation, NRLC remains committed to safeguarding India’s rich cultural heritage for future generations.
Shri Janhwij Sharma
